There are two main types of gameplay in June’s Journey. Scenes with hidden objects where you search for objects in the picture, and June’s Orchid Island estate, where you can build, decorate and develop as you progress in history.
Scenes with hidden objects
Playing scenes with hidden objects is crucial for June’s Journey. Each scene is a picture, and there are many things to find in this picture. At the bottom of the screen is a list of items that you need to find to complete the stage. When you see an item from the list, just touch it or click to find it. If there are no more items to find in the list, you win! The faster you find the items, the higher your score will be.
At the end of each scene, points are awarded. Each time you play a scene, these points add up to earn the stars shown at the top of each scene in the scene viewer. You can earn five stars in each scene. Each Star is harder to get than the previous one. Earning stars allows you to make progress in the game, receive special rewards called Starboxes and discover more stories.
Each chapter contains five scenes of hidden objects and the last adventure scene in which you unlock the deeper secrets of this story. Adventure scenes are more puzzle-oriented and there is no time bonus for completing them quickly.
June estate on Orchid Island
Orchid Island is the family home of June. You need to upgrade, expand, renew and decorate with decorations and buildings. This way you will get Flowers to unlock new chapters in the game. You can also customize the island to your liking!
Some buildings that you add to Orchid Island generate Coins over time. These coins can then be used to buy more decorations and buildings. Each building under construction will require materials and some time to be completed. Most can be improved to get even more flowers. Buildings that can be upgraded have a special icon above them when they are ready to be upgraded.
Also, watch out for important landmarks on Orchid Island. Sights are very special items, such as the old lighthouse! Improving them is important for overall progress. Although it takes a long time to renew these important landmarks, it’s worth it!
What is the hidden object scene?
The hidden object scene is one of the two main types of gameplay in June’s Journey. Your task is to find some “hidden” elements in the picture. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a list of items to find. When you see an item, click/tap it to remove it from the list. When there are no more items in the list, you win!
The faster you find the items, the higher your score will be. You also lose points for tapping the wrong object or where it isn’t, so act quickly … but not TOO fast.
Sometimes, when you find an item, you’ll see a pop-up suitcase that will fly to the top of the screen. This means that you have found a special bonus. At the end of the stage, when your score is calculated, the rewards from these suitcases will also be revealed.
If you can’t find something in the list, tap the light bulb in the bottom right corner for a hint that will highlight the item in the list. The tips are free, but it takes some time to load them after each use.
You can earn up to five stars in each scene, each of which requires more points than the previous one. Earning stars allows you to progress in the game and discover more stories. Hints can also be found in hidden object scenes. The first time you play a new scene, you’ll find the first tip. You’ll discover a second clue when you play the scene after getting the third star in that scene. Tips are important to go further in history, so make sure you find them all.
Each chapter contains five scenes of hidden objects and the last adventure scene. To unlock new Hidden Object Scenes, you’ll need to collect enough flowers to decorate the Orchid Island, and then find two clues from the previous scene.
